    2. Bettie Pacynski
    3. I am looking for any Census Records, Bibles, Journals that date from mid 1700's to mid 1800's that mention any of the Weed family that lived in this area. If you know of any researchers that might have data on the Weeds of Newberry, Dutch Fork, Orangeburgh, SC I would appreciate knowing how they could be contacted. I know of "The Journal of Rev. Godfrey Dreher" but I am sure that there must be more. The Weeds had a strong connection to the German Lutheran Church's of that area. Any help would be appreciated. Bettie

    1. [SCNEWBER] Bush River Church Membership Rolls
    2. Doyle, I wonder if you have seen any HAZELs or HAZLEs, COXes, CHAPPELLs or JOHNS(T)ONs on the Bush River Church membership rolls. They seem to have been from that general area, but I can't do more than catch fleeting glimpses of them. This would be from, say, 1760-1840. If anyone else has had "sightings" of people with those surnames, I'd be delighted to hear from you. I am trying to sort out the HAZEL family and those with which they seem to be related, including the above, and also, the TOWLES, ABNEY, GAULDEN, ATTAWAY, BROOKS and MORSE/MOSS families. Thanks. Thanks, Barbara Schenck

    1. [SCNEWBER] RE; Boozer-Allen family: clarification
    2. dwchambers
    3. Hi folks, In my post of my collateral relationship to the Boozer family from Newberry, SC,and later in Cherokee-Benton Counties of AL, I may have confused some. I am not directly descended this line. At the moment I have only one Boozer in my huge database, and am attempting to fill out her lines which connect through my paternal Allen-Satterfield family of DeKalb County, AL. Allen-Satterield-Chambers is my direct lineage. I have Leticia M. (Lettie) Boozer, b. 4 Feb. 1849 AL, m. 3-Nov.1867 to Newton Isaac Estes, b. 27 Jul 1846, NC. Their daughter Amanda H.Estes b. 13 May 1870 m. 27 Feb 1890 to William Henry Allen, b. 1856, AL Their son Newton Memory Allen is my primary research here. In my collection of research data, I have much to be reviewed of the Newberry lines of Boozers who later moved NE AL, around Cherokee and Benton-Calhoun Counties of AL.There they linked with Allens, Estes, and Tidmore-Smith families, who all are connected to my Chambers family of DeKalb, County in the 1800's. Many of these families were early immigrants from the Newberry area, holding land there, and being members of the Bush River Baptist Church in Newberry, SC. I have a few land plats and the church membership rolls if I I may be of help to anyone. Hope this helps, Best regards, Doyle Homepages: http://www.dwchambers.com Chambers Research domain Surnames under research: Chambers from England Sterling from Ireland-Scotland Cagle from Germany Satterfield from England Kuykendall from The Netherlands. Glazner from Germany Crumley from Germany-England and all extended lines.
