Hi, There are two Hubbard Cemeteries listed in the Cemetery Book. On page 112 of the 1984 edition, we find the larger of the two.. The directions in the book are either wrong or misleading unless Hwy 383 is the same as Hwy 79. If one is traveling from Bennettsville on Hwy 38 towards Hamlet, take a right at the intersection of Hwy 79 (from Gibson, N.C.) There are actually two entrances to the cemetery from Hwy 79... The first one is easily missed... It is a dirt road which travels the perimeter of a farm until the cemetery is reached. The second one is actually the continuance of the same road which exits on Hwy 79... One of the two entrances has an approx. 3 foot square sign as a marker.. A quick scan of the listings ... I found a Harriett Roscoe, Nov 3,1840; June 28, 1888 The second listing is on page 144, and is a much smaller cemetery ...has about 25 or so listings... but no Roscoes... This is the one referenced with the radio tower landmark...
