My ancestor, Aaron Dunn, was listed in the 1880 census (p. 429, HH 217/221) as follows: Aaron Dunn, 53, married, works on farm, b. SC Cynetey (elsewhere spelled Sena, or Cynthia?), 40, wife, b. SC James Beasley, 21, stepson, single, b. SC Nancy Perrot, 10, niece, b. SC Can anyone shed any light on these relationships. Cynetey (maiden name unknown) was a second wife of Aaron. Nancy could have been a daughter of Aaron's sister (name unknown), or a daughter of Cynetey's brother or sister. James was probably a son of Cynetey by a first husband, too young to have been a son of Aaron's first wife, since Aaron's children by his first wife were older than James. Ed
