Hi Everyone, I am researching the family of Edmund BROWN, b. abt. 1740, d. 1821 Marlboro Co., SC. I first find him about 1760 in Bladen Co., NC near the South Carolina line. (This area is now Marietta, Robeson Co., NC). One of his land deeds was witnessed by Thomas Brown in Bladen County. This is one of the few links to other Brown families that I have found. Could Edmund and Thomas Brown be related? Edmund moved to Marlboro Co., SC about 1775. His land was situated on the SC/NC state line and he owned property in Richmond Co., NC as well as Marlboro Co.
