    3. I am interested in contacting others researching any of the following families that were in this area from the early 1700's thru mid 1800's. John Williams b ca 1699 - died St. David's Parish, SC - widow, Elizabeth; sons, David and Robert. David Williams b ca 1724 SC - died before 4 July 1766 St. Mark's Parish, SC wife, Catherine b ca 1728 SC - died ca 1800 Lancaster Co, SC children: 1. James b ca 1750 SC - married Mary; 2. Membrance (see below); 3. William b ca 1754 SC; and Absolom b ca 1756 SC. Membrance Williams b ca 1752 SC - believe died ca 1802 Darlington Co, SC married Nancy Brown Brunson (widow of Matthew Brunson). Children: 1. Nancy Williams b ca 1786 SC - married James Brown; 2. Erasmus Williams b 25 Dec 1794 SC - died 2 Jan 1858 Rankin Co, MS - married 22 Oct 1812 Darlington Co to Lilly Mitchell Wilson; 3. Membrance Williams b ? - died ca 1828 - married 15 March 1814 to Louise Boatner; 4. Catherine E. b 11 Mar 1802 - died 21 Aug 1836 - married Abel T. Norwood; and 5. Mary b ? married Dutart. James (maybe Samuel James) Brown born ca 1785 SC - died ca 1860 Tx - married Nancy Williams (above). Children: 1. Ann b ca 1807 SC; 2. Membrance b ca 1809 SC; 3. Samuel James b ca 1813 LA; Margaret b ca 1815; Lawrence W. b ca 1820 LA; Mary Elizabeth b ca 1827 LA; and Robert b ca 1829 LA. The Brown and some of the Williams family migrated on to Louisiana about 1810-1813; remained there in E. Feliciana Parish until ca 1834 when they returned to the Madison and Rankin Counties, MS areas. Any information would be appreciated and will be happy to exchange data. Thanks, Susie Lee
