Looking for information on WILLIAM MORRIS / MORRISS who was from Marlbo. Co. SC headed west with his wife and nine children. On 5th Mar 1813 there was an application ordered that a passport be prepared for Messrs. William MORRISS/MORRIS, his wife and nine children, along with Peter Stubbs, his wife and 5 children, all from Marlborough Dist., SC to travel through the Indian Nations from this State (GA)to the Western Country--which was presented and signed.
