Glenn, There is a book on the Moses Pearson in our local library at Laurinburg, written by J. Kelly Pearson. If I can find time, this afternnon, I will look for the Rogers name. Thomas mentions that a Nicholas Rogers was the first of his clan to SC>move into the Pee Dee area circa 1745-1750.. He also mentions that one of SC>his daughters married a "Mr. Pearson"... Our family legend has it that the SC>wife of our Moses Pearson, Sr. was named Sara Rogers... SC>We are trying to trace the migration of Moses Pearson, Sr into the Pee Dee SC>and we believe there may have been others who traveled with him, etc... and SC>may have been part of the later migration out of Delaware, Maryland, SC>Virginia that followed the original Welsh Baptist..
