Linda, Yes, I am descended from the same family.... My ancestor was Captain Moses Pearson, brother to Aaron Pearson. Their father was Moses Pearson, Sr. whose Will was probated in Charleston in 1763... The existence of Moses Sr. was not know until the middle of this century to family researchers... J.A.W. Thomas recorded their father as Aaron.... Aaron was a significant landowner in the Pee Dee.. I recently obtained a copy of the Royal Land Grant for him... I would be interested in hearing from you regarding your connection.. etc... Several of us are researching the origins of Moses Sr.... It appears he may have been the brother to Captain Samuel Pearson of Wake County... and both the sons of Simon Pearson of Baltimore County Md/ Fairfax Co. Virginia...
