I am looking for information on the Rogers Family of Marlboro County. Rev. J.A.W. Thomas mentions that a Nicholas Rogers was the first of his clan to move into the Pee Dee area circa 1745-1750.. He also mentions that one of his daughters married a "Mr. Pearson"... Our family legend has it that the wife of our Moses Pearson, Sr. was named Sara Rogers... We are trying to trace the migration of Moses Pearson, Sr into the Pee Dee and we believe there may have been others who traveled with him, etc... and may have been part of the later migration out of Delaware, Maryland, Virginia that followed the original Welsh Baptist..
