    3. FLORENCE -- Services for Mrs. Frances Wilkes Griffin, 69, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2002 at Whitner-Evans Funeral Home, Bennettsville, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Griffin died Friday, May 31. Born in Dillon County, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Lewis and Annie Hargrove Wilkes. She was a homemaker and a member of Tans Bay Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, William H. "Bud" Griffin of Florence; sons, William H. "Billy" Lockamy (Teresa) of Bennettsville and William H. Griffin III of Florence; a daughter, Miss Kimberly Michelle Lockamy of Society Hill; brothers, Robert L. Wilkes of Sanford, N.C., James W. Wilkes of Blenheim, Jimmy R. Wilkes of Sanford and Wayne L. Wilkes of Miami; sisters, Imojean Eccles of Buena Vista, Calif., and Linda Diane Womack of Broadway, N.C.; grandchildren, William H. Lockamy III, Joshua Nicholas Lockamy, and James Daniel Driggers; and great-grandchildren, Justin and Ethan Grooms. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty Jean Clark.
