Elizabeth Quick BENNETTSVILLE - Services for Mrs. Elizabeth McDaniel Quick, 82, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Thomas Memorial Baptist Church with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, 308 West Main Street, Bennettsville, SC 29512 or the American Cancer Society, 950 48th Avenue North, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577. Visitation is 7-9 tonight at Whitner-Evans Funeral Home. Mrs. Quick died Wednesday, October 8, 2003. Born in Marlboro County, she was a daughter of the late John William and Alice Stephens McDaniel. She had retired as a licensed practical nurse from Marlboro General Hospital and was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church. She was married to the late Charlie Lincoln Quick. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Carolyn (Bill) Carson of Decatur, Ala., and Elaine Q. Farley of Smithville, Tenn.; a son, Charles W. Quick of Bennettsville; a sister, Mrs. Alma M. Daniels of Scotia Village, Laurinburg; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mae M. Jackson and brothers, Fred McDaniel, John A. McDaniel and Elbert B.
