Sue Steen BENNETTSVILLE - Mrs. Sue Teal Steen, 72, passed away September 29, 2003, in Sandhills Regional Medical Center, Hamlet, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, October 2, 2003, from Prevatt's Chapel Wesleyan Church, Bennettsville, with burial following in Steen Cemetery. Mrs. Steen was born in Chesterfield, a daughter of the late Earl Teal and Florence Chavis Teal. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Prevatt's Chapel Wesleyan Church. Surviving Mrs. Steen are two sons, Brady Steen of Bennettsville, and Bill Steen of High Point, N.C.; eight daughters, Linda Sturdivant of Bennettsville, Annie Ruth Roscoe of Hamlet, N.C., Brenda Prevatte of Bennettsville, Wanda Sue Nunn of Ellerbe, N.C., Mary Benoist of Bennettsville, Teresa Steen of Rockingham, N.C., and Lisa Steen of Bennettsville. Mrs. Steen is also survived by two brothers, Robert Teal and Dewey Teal, both of High Point, N.C., as well as 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; son, Willie Ray; daughter, Debra; her brother, Bill. Norton Funeral Home of Cheraw is serving the Steen family submitted by Helen Lane Wiggins
