ALBEMARLE -- Mrs. Alline Cobb Adcock, 88, of Albemarle, formerly of Rowland, died Sunday. Mrs. Adcock was a homemaker and a member of Ashpole Presbyterian Church, where she was an organist and pianist for 75 years. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Ashpole Presbyterian Church in Rowland by the Rev. William Link and Dr. Roger Horne. Burial will be in Rowland Cemetery. Mrs. Adcock is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth A. Chambers of Albemarle; a sister, Florence E. Cobb of Albemarle; five granddaughters; and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Kannaday's Funeral Home in Dillon, S.C. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 N.
