Charles McLarin III Minturn -- Charles Howard McLarin III, 63, died Tuesday, September 16, 2003, in St. Eugene Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church with burial in McLucas Cemetery, directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7-9 this evening at the funeral home. Born in Marlboro County, September 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Charles Howard McLaurin II and Julia Ammons McLaurin. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Minturns Men Club and was a truck driver. Surviving include his wife, Patty Sue McLaurin of Minturn; daughters, Angela (Gilbert) Rowell of Dillon and Robin (Gerry) Allen of Dillon; sons, Charlie (Marian) McLaurin of Dillon and Chris (Nikki) McLaurin of Greer; sister, Julia Johnson of Lake View; brothers, Charles Thomas McLaurin of Clio; grandchildren, Blake Morris, Garrett Meekins, Corey McLaurin, Curtis McLaurin, and Sidney Jeffcoat.
