Easterling, Judy Wimberly Jackson SHALOTTE, N.C. -- Services for Mrs. Judy Wimberly Jackson Easterling, 55, formerly of Bennettsville, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, at First Presbyterian Church in Bennettsville with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of South Carolina, 121 Humane Lane, Columbia, SC 29209 or the Medical University of South Carolina Children's Hospital Foundation Fund, P.O. Box 250201, Charleston, SC 29425. Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Easterling died Sunday, Sept. 7, in a Charleston hospital. Born August 31, 1948, in Bennettsville, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee Wimberly and Viola Suggs Wimberly Evans. Surviving are her husband, Roy Easterling Jr. of Shallotte; sons, Dr. William A. "Billy" Jackson of Charleston and Robert A. "Bobby" Jackson of Simpsonville; sisters, Mrs. Jenny Wimberly Bledsoe of Hartsville and Mrs. Cathy Wimberly Lynch of Bennettsville; a brother, Robert Thomas Wimberly of Bennettsville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Deanne Easterling Hinson of Tatum; and five grandchildren.
