Kathryn Long Bennettsville -- Services for Mrs. Kathryn Nicholson Long, 89, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Antioch United Methodist Church with burial in Newton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Antioch United Methodist Church, c/o Sue Quick, 568 Antioch Church Road, or the Brightsville Fire Dept., 3237 Highway 38 North, Bennettsville, SC 29512. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Whitner-Evans Funeral Home. Mrs. Long died Sunday. Born in Marlboro County, she was a daughter of the late Will T. and Rebecca Odom Nicholson. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, where she was pianist for 50 years. Surviving are sons, William S. "Billy" (Kay) McInnis of Southern Pines, Sidney J. (Betty) McInnis, III of Bennettsville; stepdaughters, Mrs. Margaret (Frank) Hansel of Port Richie, FL, Mrs. Lillian (Bill) McCaw of Hamlet, Mrs. Gladys (Hank) Rigsbee of Savannah; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
