Mary D. Dean LAURINBURG -- Mrs. Mary Danford Dean, 80, of Laurinburg, died Wednesday. Mrs. Dean was a homemaker. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in Boles Funeral Home & Crematory chapel by the Rev. Buzz Hill. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Mrs. Dean is survived by four sons, Robert McCormick of Bennettsville, S.C., John Danford of Laurinburg, Robert J. Danford of Concord and William C. Danford of Laurel Hill; six daughters, Mary Dodd of Dallas, Barbara Goodwin of Marston, Zelpha Johnson and Nancy Parham, both of Laurinburg, Mary McCormick of Laurel Hill and Annie Mae Morton of Wagram; 35 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
