Hi: I have the opportunity to spend a day or two in Marlboro County next week on my way back from Rock Hill to Charleston and would appreciate advice on how to best spend my time. My grandmother was Annie Jane Breeden Craven, daughter of Welcome Adams Breeden and Julia Margaret Fletcher. I would like to visit cemeteries connected with the Breeden, Fletcher, and other related families. Also I wonder about local library resources. Does the county library have much in the way of genealogy? I understand that there is a historical society. Would they be of help? Does anyone know the hours either are open?
