Leon Thomas Nolan (October 17, 1917 - July 30, 2003) BLENHEIM Services for Leon Thomas Nolan will be held 5:00 P.M. Friday in Salem Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Mr. Nolan, 86, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003 in Chesterfield General Hospital. Born in Marlboro County, October 17, 1917, he was the son of the late William Tommy Nolan and Annie Lou Miles Nolan. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church and was retired from the Marlboro County school system. Survivors include his daughters, Annie Ruth Blue of Bennettsville and Jean Capps of Hamlet, NC; sons, W.L. Nolan of Bennettsville and Glenn Nolan of Blenheim; sisters, Christine Jordan of Bennettsville, Elizabeth Parrish of Rockingham, NC and Thelma Smith of Virginia; brother, Maxie Nolan of Florence; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren submitted by Helen Lane Wiggins
