>>In response to Bill Snipes..... Thanks so much for the information on Berrys. I found the older Clarence listed in the 1920 census as Clarence E. also and as age 26. He is listed as a stepson of Charles F. BREEDEN, but I don't know anything about his line either. Maybe a Breeden researcher would know. My notes are hard to read, but I think they say he was born in TN. Thanks again. Larry

Hi, Larry; You might try the Marlboro Genforum page; here's one query I found there: "There are lots of Sweatt family members buried at Shiloh Methodist Church in Marlboro County. You might want to try checking there. I am looking for information on a Lawrence Sweatt who married a Berry from Dillon County, South Carolina. If you have any information, please email me at mattr988@hotmail.com . Any information is greatly appreciated." Also, check the Berry Genforum page; nothing but Berrys there. Matheson b. ca. 1848 who was married to Sarah Ellen Jernigan. I am assuming the older A. J. was the grandfather of the other--but I don't know through what son (Julian J., Gustave Donald, James Kenneth, Alexander Deems??)? Can you tell me more? Many thanks. My thanks to both of you. I do have information that I will have to dig out that shows Braxton living in Clio with his widowed mother and next door to his future wife. I have also received information from another list member that helps me to fill in much of what I am looking for on Braxton. And Grace has generously agreed to mail me some information on the heritage of Braxton's mother. Life is good. I appreciate all the generosity. -----Original Message----- From: JanieRuthM@aol.com [mailto:JanieRuthM@aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, June 18, 2002 12:31 PM To: SCMARLBO-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [SCMARLBO-L] 1900 Census Look-up Request for Clio Grace, Thanks a million.
