Stokely Sturgess was born about 1805 in Marboro Co, married Ann Coxe, daughter of William Coxe and Elizabeth. many of his sons moved to Florida where they died in the civil war. Yes, the Caroline Johnson and Isaac Brigman I mentioned are the ones to whom you refer. They had a son Wyatt (per 1850 census). I have Tobias Johnson's will (Caroline's father) and also some papers dealing with the disposition of his estate. Caroline's sister, Margaret, married Solomon Quick. If you have any information about her brother, Daniel Johnson, I would be very interested.
