    2. LATTA — Services for Ida Mae Hyatt will be held Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at 2 p.m. in Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church with burial in Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 9 Sunday in Cooper Funeral Home. Mrs. Hyatt, 75, died Friday at her residence after an illness. Born in Marlboro County, March 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Cletus and Edith McDowell. She was the widow of Clyde Hubert Hyatt. Survivors include her children, Edith Herring (Ernest) of Marion, Sarah McCormick of Thomasville, N.C., Mollie Powell of Nichols, Marvin Hyatt (Sarah) of Thomasville, N.C., Mandy Powers (Rev. Lloyd Junior) of Dillon, Rev. Johnny Hyatt (Linda) of Dillon, Diane Todd (Danny) of Dillon, Terry Hyatt (Ann Marie) of Dillon, and Susan Hyatt (Billy Ray) of Dillon; brothers and sisters, Francis Harrington, and Wendell McDowell of Florence, Ann Carter, Leroy McDowell and William McDowell of Hamer, Fay McDowell and James McDowell (Boone) of Dillon, Kathleen McCall of Bennettsville; step-mothers, Belle McDowell of Dillon and Helen Haire of Florence; 28 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; a host of neices, nephews and special friends. She was predeceased by her son, Clyde Hyatt, her brothers, Leonard McDowell, Cletus McDowell Jr. and her sister, Annalee Tarte, and son-in-law, Tink McCormick. **************It's only a deal if it's where you want to go.
