MULLINS - CW3 Robert Jeffery Capps, U.S. Army (Ret.), 57, born August 20, 1950, in Mullins, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harmon and Helen Capps of Galivants Ferry, died August 1, 2008, of lung cancer. A devoted son, loving father, and loyal friend, he will live on through his family, the soldiers he trained and his grandchildren. Jeff was predeceased by his father. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife and her two children, two sisters, a brother, his son, and his daughter.
