CONWAY | Shelia Martin Dorman, 54, of Martin Lane, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Conway Medical Center following an illness. Born in Mullins, Ms. Dorman was a daughter of Laura Hill Martin and the late Herman Jenkins Martin. She was a member of Waccamaw Pentecostal Holiness Church. Ms. Dorman was a truck driver for 18 years. Surviving in addition to her mother of Conway, are two daughters, April D. Poston and her companion, Jeffrey Gore of Aynor, and Tracy Lynn Rich and husband, Johnny, of Seattle; six grandchildren, Dee Ann Poston, Casey Poston, Taylor Gore, Jessica Lynn Johnson, Samantha McCracken and Christopher McCracken; one brother, Jerry Wayne Martin and wife, Sandra, of Aynor; two sisters, Priscilla Anne McDowell and husband, Kelly, of Conway, and Lisa Reed and husband, Tony, of Sumter; two special people, Timothy and Crystal Johnson of Conway; an several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2008 from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel, with the Rev. Clyde Chan and the Rev. Danny Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the funeral home.
