SPARTANBURG - Bobbie Jean Price Hyatt, 73, of 26 Summercreek Drive, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, in Magnolia Place. Born February 24, 1935, in Dillon, SC, she was the daughter of the late Belton O’Neal and Mallie Miller Price and the wife of Frank Hyatt. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, the Rev. Dr. Wayne Frank Hyatt and his wife Diane K. Hyatt of Spartanburg; a daughter, Nancy Carol Hyatt of Spartanburg; three granddaughters, Kaylie Marie Hyatt, Lindy Nicole Hyatt and Shelley Renae Hyatt, all of Spartanburg; a sister, Virginia Price Edwards of Mullins; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Henry Price and Belton O’Neal Price of Dillon; and two sisters, Roxie Price Page of Fork, SC, and Hazel Price Norris of Spartanburg. Visitation will be noon - 1:45 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 250 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306; or to the Charles Lea Center, 195 Burdette Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
