    1. Re: [SCMARION] Question about William Bartow Berry
    2. Larry, I just sent you directly an e-mail which contains the 1920 Dallas Texas census for your William Berry. It appears his wife's name though was Jennie. But Howard and Wilbur B. are living in the home. Is this your guy? Cathy In a message dated 7/17/2008 2:25:21 P.M. Mountain Daylight Time, ljones@sewanee.edu writes: Dear fellow researchers, I am seeking advice. One of the Berry family born in what is now Dillon County (March 13, 1862) was William Bartow Berry. He was the son of "Capt" Stephen F. Berry. I didn't know what happened to him but recently got some notes that say that he was "killed in Texas" on September 27, 1925, that he was married to Feebe (could that be Phoebe?) Deloach and had children named Robert (thought to have died before 1979), Wilbur (lived in CA one time and thought to be living in 1979), Howard (living in Tampa, FL, in 1979), Howard (living in Tampa, FL, in 1979), Thelma (died before 1979), and Grace (thought to be living in Tampa, FL, in 1979). Those are all my clues. I have tried google searching and checking the SSDI without much success (except there was one Howard Berry 1904-1996 who died in Tampa). I am not even sure if the family was mostly in Florida, Texas, or somewhere else. Do anyone know if there is any easy way to check census records for 1900, 1910, and 1920 to see if this family might be found anywhere? I would appreciate any help or advice you can give. Many thanks.
