Ooops they were married in Alachua Co., FL (just over the border) and his name was James Murkson Price. Cathy In a message dated 7/13/2008 5:37:34 A.M. I have talked my cousin, a direct male Spivey line, into sending a sample to Sorenson Labs who do a free DNA if you submit a 3-4 generation pedigree. They don't send you results but post the results into their database which takes 6 months or more and it's searchable on their website. My Spivey line go back to Wingate, Isaac and Matthew which straddle the SC/NC line mostly in present day Dillon Co, Robeson Co and Columbus Co. I know there are a lot of Spiveys in that area and DNA might help indicate a link that's not yet documented, a lot of them may be related thru Edmond Spivey and back to George Spivey who migrated to VA in the early days of our country. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to SCMARION-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message **************Get the scoop on last night's hottest shows and the live music scene in your area - Check out TourTracker.com!
