MULLINS | Terry Lee Turner, 48, died Saturday, July 26, 2008 on Bon Secours Hospice at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, Va. after an extended illness. He was born February 29, 1960 in Mullins, South Carolina, a son of Bernice Stroud Rohr and the late Carson Lee ''Buck'' Turner. Terry was a graduate of Green Sea-Floyds High School. He was an avid supporter and worker for the Wheelchair Olympic Games. He was a member of Faith Landmark Church in Richmond, Va. Surviving Terry are his mother, Bernice Stroud Rohr of Mullins; a brother, Greg Turner and his wife, Nancy, of Thibodaux, La.; a sister, Michelle Fowler and her husband, Doug, of Mullins; two nieces, Jennifer and Stacy Fowler; four uncles; two aunts; five great-aunts; and a host of cousins. Terry was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, A.B. ''Burnis'' Stroud and Sally Emanuel Stroud; his paternal grandmother, Gladys Turner; four great-aunts; and four great-uncles. Graveside services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Ailshie officiating. The services will be directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, July 28, 2008 at the funeral home.
