MARION — Linda Darlene Partlow, 61, formally of Claymont, DE, and retired to Marion, SC went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2008. Services will be held at 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 3 at Marion First United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the Church 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will be private. Mrs. Partlow was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Isabella M. Horne. She is also predeceased by brothers and sisters, Thomas, Charles, Marie, Gerald, Lorraine and William. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting, working on her family tree and doing volunteer work at Marion County (SC) Medical Center. She was a member and past president of the Claymont Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her wonderful husband of 43 years, Marshall Partlow, Sr. of the home, beloved daughter, Michele DiOrio and her husband, Rob, granddaughter, Nicole and son, Marshall Partlow, Jr.; sisters, Isabella Herbus of Boothwyn, PA, Adele Group of Port Richey, FL, and Patricia May of Georgetown, DE; as well as many nieces and nephews.
