HAMER — Services for Priscilla Barrentine Hayes were held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Sardis Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home was in charge. Mrs. Hayes, 65, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at her residence. Born in Dillon County, September 19, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Ervin Barrentine and Blanche Turner Barrentine. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was the widow of the late Wallie T. Hayes. Survivors include her sons, Larry (Tammy) Hayes of Hamer and Ricky Hayes of Latta; brothers, Donnie (Regenia) Barrentine of Florence and Ronnie Barrentine; sisters, Linda (Thomas) Monahan of Lugoff, Carol (Luke) Rising of Columbia, and Sandra Dial of Latta; grandchildren, Larry David Hayes of Little River, Jason Robert Hayes of Dillon and Tonya Nicole Hayes of Mullins; stepgrandchildren, Johnathan Ray Williamson of Dillon and Donnie Lynn Williamson of Dillon; stepgranddaughter, Crystal Diane Bourgoin; great-grandchild, Matthew Ray Williamson; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Melvin Barrentine; and her great-granddaughter, Madison LeAnne Bourgoin.
