IRMO — A memorial service for Anne Elizabeth McDuffie McCullough will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2006, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Irmo/St. Andrews Chapel at Bush River Memorial Gardens. You are invited to visit at noon before the service with the family and friends for a reception with light refreshments. Anne Elizabeth McDuffie McCullough, 84, of Columbia, SC, died at home June 27, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Colonel Jasper Kemper and Elizabeth Hoofnagle McDuffie of Marion, SC. She leaves a sister, Jackie Aull of Columbia, and brother, Duncan McDuffie of Lake Norman, NC. She and her devoted husband of 60 years, Colonel William “Mac” McCullough, have three children, Elizabeth Stewart of Savannah, Georgia, William E. McCullough, Jr. of Columbia and Jane H. McCullough of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Anne leaves behind two grandchildren, Elizabeth Stewart Doran of Duvall, Washington, and Liam Dalton McCullough of Chapin. She had two great-grandchildren, Charles Terence Doran and McCullough Stewart Doran of Duvall, Washington. She also leaves loving in-laws, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by grandson, Richards Owen Stewart, III, formerly of Savannah, Georgia. Anne was born October 26, 1921, in Fortress Monroe, Virginia. She graduated from Kansas State University and was a lifelong member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She was a founding member of the Settler’s Club of Columbia and a dedicated bride and homemaker.
