MARION — Mrs. Lillion Scott Rogers, 85, died Saturday, June 24, 2006, in McLeod Hospice House, after an illness. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, in Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Richardson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after the service in the cemetery. Mrs. Rogers was born in Marion, a daughter of the late Emerson Scott, Sr. and Annabelle Baker Scott. She is also predeceased by her husband, Alton M. Rogers; a brother, Earl B. Scott; and a sister, Helen Scott Stroud. Mrs. Rogers was a former member of the Marion Pilot Club, and had retired from Marion Concrete Company after 30 years of service. She was a graduate of Winthrop College, and a member of Marion Baptist Church. Mrs. Rogers is survived by brothers, Emerson Scott, Jr. and Robert A. Scott; a sister, Mary B.
