    2. CONWAY | Mrs. Foye Richardson Brooks, age 83, went on to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 6, 2006. Mrs. Brooks was born March 5, 1923 in Brittons Neck, a daughter of the late Richard and Florrie Richardson. She was a charter member of South Conway Freewill Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her first husband, Dermy Skipper; her second husband, Allard B. Hucks Sr.; her third husband, Jesse Cannon Brooks Sr.; two brothers, John Richardson and Lewis Richardson; five sisters, Drucille Skipper, Cora Richardson, Gertie Larrimore, Rosie Richardson, and Minnie Richardson; and two sons, J.C. Brooks Jr., and Levon Brooks. Survivors include fourteen children, Lamar Skipper and his wife, Mildred, of Marion, A.B. Hucks Jr. and his wife, Wanda, of Aynor, Wanda Gail Lewis and her husband, Michael, of Galivants Ferry, Dianne Strickland and her husband, Lyle, of Conway, Juanita Strickland and her husband, the Rev. Clifford Strickland of Loris, Carl Brooks and his wife, Helen, of Columbia, Ernestine Lewis of Aynor, Bobbie Jean Oliver and her husband, Gene, of Conway, Sally Brown and her husband, Charlie, of Marion, Patricia Harper and her husband, Larue, of Mullins, Leon Brooks and his wife, Lynn, of Conway, Ray Brooks and his wife, Brenda, of Johnsonville, Buddy Brooks and his wife, Mildred, of Georgia, and Harriet Causey and her husband, Russell, of Green Sea; three sisters, Marie Hardwick of Lake View, Nettie Roberts of Aynor, and Maidne Larrimore of Brittons Neck; and numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 7, 2006, from the South Conway Freewill Baptist Church starting at 6 p.m. Family and friends may also gather at the home of Lyle and Dianne Strickland, 5287 Highway 65, Conway. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, June 8, 2006 from the South Conway Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Lambert and the Rev. Buddy Seay officiating.
