MULLINS — Lloyd Nelson Watts, 15, died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18 at the Mullins High School Gym, with Rev. Hoyt King and Rev. Chip Scruggs officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Lloyd was born August 25, 1990, in Mullins, a son of Lloyd Watts, Jr. and Allison Pack Watts. He was a 10th grade student at Mullins High School. Lloyd was an avid skateboarder and fisherman. He loved to draw and write poetry. Lloyd was a member of Gapway Baptist Church. Surviving Lloyd in addition to his parents of the home are: a sister, Courtney Watts and a brother, Christopher Watts, both of the home; a special brother: Dwayne Martin; his maternal grandparents: Nick and Mary D. Pack of Mullins; his paternal grandfather: Elwood Watts of Marion; and his paternal great-grandmother: Ozroe Watts of Marion. Lloyd was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Brewer Watts; his maternal great-grandmother, Julia Drew; and his maternal great-grandfather, Nelson Pack, Sr. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Rd., Bethesda, MD 20814 or to the American Cancer Society, in Honor of Coach Charles Elvington, 950 48th Ave. N., Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
