NICHOLS — Mrs. Nettie Richardson Floyd, 73, died Sunday, April 16, 2006, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 20 2006, at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Floyd was born November 11, 1932, in Horry County, a daughter of the late Wade Hampton Richardson and the late Bessie Roberts Richardson. She had worked with Heritage Sportswear and was employed with Allread’s Corner Grocery. Surviving Mrs. Floyd are: a daughter, Barbara F. Jackson of Marion; a son, William Floyd of Nichols; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Mayberry Richardson of Jacksonville, Fla.; and three sisters, Esterline Collins of Carthage, N.C., Airvee Williamson of Galivants Ferry and Ila Floyd of Dillon. Mrs. Floyd was predeceased by an infant son, Andrew, a son, Tom Floyd and two sisters, Bessie Brigman and Frances Allread. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 7 till 9 p.m. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
