GEORGETOWN | Herbert ''Chick'' Cribb, 70, died Saturday, April 8, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Cribb was born July 13, 1935 in Georgetown County, a son of the late Davis Stole Cribb and Mary Ethel Powells Cribb Jones. He was a retired painter. He was a member of Daybreak Community Church and the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. Surviving are his wife, Barbara McConnell Cribb; two daughters, Tina C. Vause and husband, Steve, and Tammy C. Fullwood and her husband, Scott, all of Georgetown; two grandchildren, Steve A. Vause Jr., and Tiffany R. Vause; two brothers, Marion Cribb of Socastee and Murl Cribb of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Viola Gibson of Mullins and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant brother, David Cribb; and two sisters, Lila Mae Bordeaux and Helen Haselden. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 11 a.m. in Daybreak Community Church. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
