MYRTLE BEACH | T. Kurt Holden Jr., 43, died Monday, April 17, 2006. Kurt was born Aug. 16, 1962 in Marion, a son of Teddy K. Holden Sr. and the late Carolyn Martin Holden Williams. He was the general manager of Thorny's Steakhouse on South Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. Kurt was an avid outdoorsman. Surviving Kurt are his father, Teddy K. Holden Sr. and his wife, Molly, of Mullins; his sisters and brothers, Kim Ferguson and her husband, Mike, of Myrtle Beach; Karen Collins of Marion, Eric Holden of Conway, Tangela Brown of Mullins and Bucky Brown of Mullins; and his stepfather, Lance Williams Jr. of Marion. Kurt was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Lewis and Theda Holden; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Martin. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2006 from Shiloh United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Alvin Shifflett officating. Burial will follow in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins. Visitation will be held Sunday evening, April 23, 2006 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
