    2. MYRTLE BEACH | Barbara Bellamy Bullock, 72, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on Friday, September 15, 2006. She was born on Feb. 11, 1934 in Longs, a daughter of the late Carlisle Hickman and Anne Brigman Bellamy. Mrs. Bullock was a member of First United Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach. She was also a member of numerous Masonic organizations and held many titles. She became active in the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, serving as Mother Advisor for Myrtle Beach Assembly #37 for eighteen years. In 1994 she was appointed Supreme Deputy for S.C. Mrs. Bullock was a Past Worthy Matron of Myrtle Beach Chapter #180, Order of the Eastern Star and also served this past year as District Deputy for District #20. She was a member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and the Daughters of the Nile, both in Charleston. She was a past Grand Royal Matron of S.C., Order of the Amaranth. Her biggest accomplishment came this past summer, as she was installed as Supreme Truth, of the Supreme Council, Order of the Amaranth, Inc. She was recently bestowed the honor of becoming an honorary member of the Grand Court of England. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Charlie Bullock; a son, Greg Bullock of the home; a daughter, Debbie Griggs of the home; a brother, Carlisle Buddy Bellamy and wife, Jeanette, of Kernersville, N.C.; two sisters, Margie B. Hardee of Kernersville, N.C. and Juanita B. Godbolt of Mullins; four grandchildren, Debra Michelle Griggs of Myrtle Beach, Stephanie Bullock Pierle and husband, Matt, of Ind., Christopher Jordon Griggs of Myrtle Beach and Douglas Gregory Bullock of Myrtle Beach; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved godchildren, Doug Shaw of Spartanburg and Gina Shaw Perry of Asheville, N.C.; and her special Rainbow daughter, Angel and her husband, Wes and son, Charles Jacob ''Jake'' McAllister of Mt. Carmel. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church of Myrtle Beach. The Reverend Kenneth Timmerman and the Reverend Scarlett Tanner Hester will officiate. Burial will follow in Bell Brook Gardens, off Highway 9 in Longs. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, September 17, 2006 at McMillan-Small Funeral Home, Myrtle Beach.
