ALLENDALE - Mrs. Patsy Ann Braxton Fogle of Allendale, died Monday evening in the Lexington Medical Center in Lexington, SC after an extended illness. Mrs. Fogle was born in Fairfax, SC, September 27, 1941; a daughter of the late Willie Braxton and Lillie Altman Pender Braxton Martin. Mrs. Fogle was the owner and operator of Pat-Pat's Nursery in Allendale for 25 years. She was a member of the Fairfax Baptist Church where she was active with the Young at Heart Seniors Group and was a member of the Ever-Blooming Garden Club in Allendale. She was also presently a member of the Spring Branch Baptist Church in Nichols and was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Surviving are her husband, George Leslie Fogle of the home; son, George Clinton Fogle of Lexington; daughter, Camey F. Hayes of Fair Bluff, NC; and brother, Billy Pender of Santee. There are two grandsons. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Fairfax Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Phillip Latta, Rev. Robert Jumper, and Rev. Walt Cooper, with burial in the Swallow Savannah Cemetery in Allendale, directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton, located at 300 Mulberry Street. Friends may call at the Chapel in Hampton from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday until the hour of services. The family would like to thank Dr. Tripp Jones and Staff at the South Carolina Oncology Associates and the 8th floor staff at the Lexington Medical Center for their acts of kindness and caring. Also, the family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to the charity of one's choice.
