Hi, I am looking for information on Abraham Roberts II of Marion Dist. He was a great- grandson of Rev Pierre Robert of French Santee. I am looking for info on when he moved to the Pee Dee. He is listed as a member of the Cherokee Expedition under Col George Gabriel Powell. His sister Martha was the first wife of Anthony Sweet I and they were granted guardianship of Abraham after his father's death c1762. There is apparently a letter in existence which grants this guardianship and I would like to find more information about this. Any information greatly appreciated! --------------------------------- Get your own web address for just $1.99/1st yr. We'll help. Yahoo! Small Business.
Hi Pat, Can't help you right now. However, I'm interested in Huguenot's arrival in the Marion area and what churches they may have joined. I'll look through what I have for Roberts and keep an eye open in the future. Ray Pat Sweet wrote: > Hi, > I am looking for information on Abraham Roberts II of Marion Dist.
