MARION | Mrs. Elizabeth Louise Smith, 91, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Smith was born in Breathet County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Emory Simpson and Elizabeth Robinson Simpson. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Clifford W. Smith; two daughters, Helen Louise Allen and Jennifer Jo Smith; a brother, Emory Simpson; and a sister, Marjorie Moss. Mrs. Smith was a member of Marion First United Methodist Church, Derrick Bible class, Care Givers, Anne Herbert Circle and a volunteer at Marion County Medical Center. She is survived by her daughters, Martha Schoonover and her husband, Scott and Rebecca Psaroudis and her husband, Steve, all of Marion; brothers, Edwin Simpson of Arlington, Va., John Simpson of Marion and David Simpson of Pt. Pleasant, W.Va.; sisters, Dorothy Johnson of Pt. Pleasant, W.Va. and Betty Brown of Rochester, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2006 at Richardson Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service. Burial will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
