MULLINS | Mr. Frederick Olsen Sanders Sr., 69, husband of Harriett Jo Anderson Sanders died Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at Marion County Medical Center. Mr. Sanders was born April 24, 1937 in Marion County, a son of the late Carl Millard Sanders Sr. and the late Martha Schneid Sanders. He was a photographer. Mr. Sanders was a Shriner and a member of the Omar Temple. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the Civil Air Patrol and a member of Mullins Presbyterian Church. Surviving Mr. Sanders, in addition to his wife of the home, are two sons, Fred O. Sanders Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, of Mullins and Vic Sanders and his wife, Kirteena, of Mullins; a daughter, Susanne D. Sanders of Lexington; his grandchildren, Derrick Sanders, Seth Bass, Skylar Sanders, Gage Sanders, Branden Baker and Tori Baker; and two brothers, Dr. Carl M. Sanders Jr. of Dillon and Dr. Frank Sanders of Loris. He was predeceased by a sister, Dr. Catherine C. Cox. Visitation will be held Friday evening, September 15, 2006 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 16, 2006 in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Jason Brewer officiating.
