Joseph M. Singleton Joseph Monroe Singleton, 76, of U.S. 378, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at home after an illness. He was born in Horry County, a son of the late James and Henrietta Martin Singleton. He was an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Irma Singleton; a daughter, Sonja Phipps of Conway; a stepdaughter, Deena Leake of Conway; three brothers, Arthur B. Singleton of Conway, James G. Singleton of Socastee and Douglas Singleton of Kannapolis, N.C.; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and a stepgreat-grandchild. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at High Point Baptist Church. The Rev. Mack Hutson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery
