WAMPEE Samuel Bryant Sr. Samuel Bryant Sr., 81, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center after an illness. He was born Feb. 14, 1920, in Little River, a son of the late Lamar and Julia Bryant. He attended Horry County public schools and was a member of Chesterfield Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth Bryant; four children, Samuel Bryant and Harold Bryant of Wampee, Sarah Dixon of Cool Springs and Michael Bryant of Fort Smith, Ark.; a sister, Geneva Wilson; a brother, Lamar Bryant of Wampee; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Latimer's Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Chesterfield Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
