Loretta, My McLellan's came to Charleston, SC in 1788. My ggg grandmother had married Edward Campbell in Scotland in 1777, her name was Mary McLellan, and her father was Alexander. He came with them but I don't know if he brought any other children with him or not. I have seen his name on some deed along with Edward's in Marion County, the part that is now in Dillon County. Bob
