    3. Glis Cribb MARION -- Services for Glis P. "Buster" Cribb, 82, will be held at 3 p.m. today, November 14, 2001, at Ariel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Centenary United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Smith-Collins Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 181 E. Evans St., BTC-009, Florence, SC 29506. Mr. Cribb, husband of Christine Brown Cribb, died Monday, November 12, 2001, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. Born December 24, 1918, in Marion Co., he was a son of the late Jimmy John Cribb and Mary Frances Richardson Cribb. Mr. Cribb was a retired farmer. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II. He was a member of Woodmen of the World and Ariel Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon and a former church treasurer for 20 years. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Christine Brown Cribb of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce Ray Strickland; son and daughter-in-law, Charles L. Cribb of Marion, Terry H. Cribb; grandchildren, Beverly Ray Lane, Kathy Ray Luhrs, Connie Ray Taylor, Christy Cribb Hayes, Glis P. Cribb, Amanda B. Cribb, Charles L. Cribb II; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Lottie C. Altman of Marion, Louise C. Koschel of Marion; sisters-in-law, Margaret B. White, Mildred B. Coleman, Agnes B. Haseldon, Frances B. Drew, Shirley B. Avant, Beth B. Hill, Miriam B. Atkinson.
