DILLON Gracie Mae G. Peele Gracie Mae Godbolt Peele, 66, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, in St. Eugene Medical Center. She was born in Dillon County on June 24, 1935, a daughter of the late Tommy and Mollie Turner Godbolt. She was a member of the Dillon Second Baptist Church and was the widow of Douglas Leon Peele. Survivors include her daughter, Janet Kathy Peele of Santee; a son, Douglas Leon Peele Jr. of Bear Creek, N.C.; a sister, Sara Gladys Newsome of Surfside Beach; a brother, Thomas Godbolt of Timmonsville; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Cooper Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Dillon Second Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
