    3. NICHOLS Annie S. Rushing Annie Strickland Rushing, 64, wife of Jimmy Levoe Rushing, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at home after an illness. She was born Jan. 21, 1937, in Marion County, a daughter of the late Tolar Strickland and Dulah Barnhill Strickland. She was a homemaker and attended Floyds Free Will Baptist Church. She was first married to the late James M. Strickland. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Jimmy Strickland of Raeford, N.C. and Gary Strickland of Mullins; two daughters, Florence S. Gerrald of Mullins and Princess Lynn Strickland of Nichols; a brother, Rea "Buddy" Strickland of Nichols; two sisters, Dulah Mae S. Martin of Aynor and Linda S. McLeod of Loris; two stepsons, Jimmy Lester Rushing of Mullins and Henry Rushing of Florence; a stepdaughter, DeRhonda Nobles of Mullins; eight grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Archie Strickland and Larry Strickland, and a sister, Sadie Strickland Carroll. Visitation will be at her home, on Hardwick Road in Nichols, where she will lie from 10 a.m. today to 2 p.m. Sunday. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Floyds Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Bruce Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Old Zion Methodist Church Cemetery in the Zion community in Marion County. Cox-Collins Funeral Home in Mullins is in charge
