CONWAY Lucia C. Bacot Lucia Cross Bacot, 88, widow of John P. "Pete" Bacot, of Forestview Road, died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at home after an illness. She was born in Marion, a daughter of the late W. Howard and Lucia Coit Cross. She was a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Azalea Garden Club. She graduated from Columbia College and retired from the Department of Social Services. Survivors include a daughter, Lucia B. Bacot of Myrtle Beach; two sons, John P. Bacot Jr. and his wife, Becky, of Surfside Beach, and Howard C. Bacot and his wife, Linda, of Atlanta; and a brother, Fred Cross and his wife, Catherine, of Darlington. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at the home, on Forestview Road in Conway. A graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Lakeside Cemetery. The Rev. Marty Taylor will officiate.
