The State (Columbia): Saturday, November 17, 2001 Walta Hopkins TIMMONSVILLE -- Graveside services for Walta Mae "Tater" Morris Hopkins, 61, will be held at 3 p.m. today in Byrd Cemetery. Layton-Anderson Funeral Home is in charge. Mrs. Hopkins died November 15, 2001. Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Woodrow and Annie Bell Morris. She was employed with Floyd's Seafood for many years. Surviving are husband, Johnny Hopkins; brother, Charles Morris; sisters, Frances Buie, Bobbie Mitchell, Jannie Alexander; nieces and nephews.
